Advancing Cancer Immunotherapy with Patients as Our Guide

Our lab focuses on defining the immunologic mechanisms that mediate tumor regression to immunotherapies both in cancer patients and in pre-clinical models. The Fong lab is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of scientists, bioinformaticians, and physicians.

The overarching goal of our laboratory is to improve the outcomes of our patients through the identification of cellular pathways and programs that are associated with response, resistance, and toxicities. We utilize the multi-omic single cell approaches to interrogate preclinical models and samples from patients. Our basic and translational research has the potential for immediate impact.
