Our Research

The Naresh Lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center focuses primarily on translational research of lymphomas and other blood cancers. The laboratory conducts research that ultimately leads to improved patient care. The laboratory explores the biology of lymphomas and other blood cancers by understanding the alterations in gene/protein expression of the tumor cells and the microenvironment, and via other changes to the genome. Through these studies, questions related to disease pathogenesis, the impact of infectious agents, and biomarkers of disease behavior are addressed. The laboratory’s research intends to deliver precision oncology in these diseases, particularly in the context of current and future therapies.
