Our Research

Welcome to the Pergam Group. We study the prevention of infections in patients with cancer, transplant recipients and other immunocompromised populations, and investigate risk factors for healthcare and community-acquired infections in these groups. Dr. Steve Pergam actively leads development of new infection control strategies and educational programs as the Medical Director of Infection Control at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
