Our Research

The Srivastava lab is focused on applying principles of basic T cell biology towards the design of more effective adoptive T cell therapies for human cancers. We use clinically relevant mouse models of human cancer to uncover the mechanisms within the tumor microenvironment that limit the activity of tumor-specific T cells and use these insights to develop strategies to enhance the efficacy of engineered T cells that can be translated back to the clinic.
