Prospective postdocs should submit a CV, a description of their past and future research interests, and the names and contact information for at least two references.

Graduate Students

The Bloom lab accepts graduate students from the following University of Washington programs: Molecular & Cellular Biology, Genome Sciences, Microbiology, and Biological Physics, Structure and Design. 

Undergraduates

Our primary criterion for evaluating undergraduate applicants is evidence of a high degree of motivation. A good way to demonstrate your motivation is to write an e-mail that contains several paragraphs explaining what about our research specifically makes you interested in this lab.
