Project description:
 The purpose of the Implementation Studio is to assist a rural community-based organization to select, adapt, and implement an evidence-based intervention to promote cancer screening. Our research team partners with the community-based organization to guide them through the process of adapting a chosen intervention for the rural community and to provide ongoing trainings and consultations on how to roll out the intervention.

Project description:
A short-term feasibility project to assess and refine the intervention and study procedures of a dietary intervention to reduce consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages by children with severe early childhood caries (ECC) in preparation for a Phase II trial. The intervention will take place over 3 months following surgery for ECC. The data collected at baseline and 3 months include dental caries, height, weight, sugar sweetened beverages consumption, and other oral health-related and dietary behaviors.

Project description: 
The purpose of this project is to better understand barriers to colorectal cancer screening among Spanish-speaking Hispanics/Latinos so that we can use this information to adapt our colorectal cancer screening program materials, specifically a fecal immunochemical test (FIT) kit and patient navigation. The study leverages focus groups and a pilot intervention trial to help us culturally and linguistically adapt ProCRCScreen workflows and patient education materials to increase colorectal cancer screening rates among Hispanic/Latino older adults.
