June

Chu was awarded the 2024 V Scholar Grant from the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

We are very grateful for the support of the V Foundation. We will use a novel strategy to integrate complex genetic interactions into Colorectal cancer (CRC) risk prediction. It involves a multi-disciplinary effort among computational, experimental and statistical scientists. The work will address the critical need of CRC screening to develop an accurate risk prediction score for precision medicine. The novel PRS can target high-risk individuals for early intervention to prevent CRC development, and spare low-risk groups from unnecessary procedures. Here is the story.
