Our lab studies how aging reshapes adult stem cells and their microenvironment to influence tissue regeneration, cancer initiation and therapeutic responses. By combining cutting-edge genetic approaches and organoid models. we seek to uncover the fundamental mechanisms linking aging, regeneration, and tumorigenesis using physiologically aged primary adult stem cells .
Our long-term goal is to identify strategies that promote healthy tissue repair while preventing or treating cancer. We are passionate about collaborative science and are always excited to connect with students, postdocs, clinicians, and collaborators who share an interest in aging, stem cell biology, and cancer.
