BC3 provides short-term consultations for biostatistics-related questions. Complex, large-scale, and/or long-term projects may be outside of the scope of the free support provided by BC3. We may contact you to discuss more appropriate options.
Examples of services:
- Formulation of research aims and development of plans for data collection and analysis
- Statistical study design issues including power analysis and sample size assessment
- Development of statistical sections as appropriate for NIH and foundation grants
- Data analysis support related to abstracts and manuscripts
- Interpretation and presentation of statistical findings
- Trouble shooting code issues (R/Python/SAS, etc.)
If you do have funding to support statistical staff, please email statshelp@fredhutch.org to discuss alternative steps for your project, as we also provide a pool of expertise for research groups or sponsored projects that lack budget for hiring a full-time statistician. Depending on availability, you may support Statistical Research Associate (SRA) and/or faculty statistician effort on your funded projects.
