We’re Hiring a Staff Scientist!
The Cohn Lab is looking for a Staff Scientist to lead studies of human immune memory and immune control in longitudinal cohorts.
In this role, you’ll take primary scientific ownership of one or more cohort studies and drive high-resolution sequencing and single-cell immune profiling of clinical samples. You’ll also develop methods that extend the laboratory’s sequencing approaches to new pathogens and new questions in human immunology, mentor graduate students and technical staff, and contribute to manuscripts and grant applications as a senior author and co-investigator.
We’d love to hear from you if you have a Ph.D. or M.D. in immunology or a related field, a strong publication record, and hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing, single-cell assays, and multicolor flow cytometry, along with data analysis skills in Python and/or R. Above all, we’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, creativity, and initiative to their research, is eager to learn new techniques, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
