Faculty Profile

Manu is an Assistant Professor in Basic Sciences Division and is a member of the Translational Data Science IRC. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Dana Pe'er in the Computational & Systems Biology Program at Sloan Kettering Institute, where he developed computational methods to model developmental trajectories using single-cell data.

He received a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School training in the lab of Dr. Christina Leslie (csBio Program, SKI), a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. He is a recipient of the Tri-Institutional Breakout Prize for Junior Investigators.
