Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Two Post-doctoral Research Fellow or graduate student positions are available in the Infectious Disease Sciences (IDS) Program in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD). The scientist will work with Josh Schiffer and Dan Reeves to develop mathematical models characterizing the HIV reservoir and considering HIV cure approaches.

Suitable applicants should have a PhD degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, applied mathematics, biomedical engineering, physics, computational biology, evolutionary biology or other fields with strong quantitative training. Strong programming skills in C/C++, Matlab and/or R are required. Previous experience with differential equation based or agent based models are a plus.
