Title: Research Technician, 2018-2021

Erik graduated from the University of South Florida in 2018 with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology. During his time as an undergraduate student, he participated in research with Dr. Sandy Westerheide, studying the heat shock response and the transcription factor HSF-1 in C. elegans. Erik wants to be a technician for a few years before moving onto graduate school to study molecular neurobiology.

Outside of the lab Erik enjoys listening to music and going to live shows. Erik is very excited to live in Seattle for several reasons such as outdoors adventures, exploring the city, and the fact that Seattle is a hotspot for live music.
