I am a Postdoctoral research associate in the Subramaniam and Campbell Labs at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. I am interesting in utilizing structural biology and genomic techniques to understand ribosome stalling and translation regulation.
I completed my PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with Dr. Diwakar Shukla. My graduate research focused on characterizing structural dynamics of membrane transport proteins using large-scale molecular dynamics simulations and Markovian modelling. Prior to my graduate studies, I received my Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing piano, badminton, and skiing.
