About Teresa: Teresa holds a BS in Environmental Sciences from Oregon State University and a BAS in Molecular BioSciences from Bellevue college.  She worked at Fred Hutch since 2016 in the Kiem lab on improving enrichment, gene editing and homology driven recombination in nonhuman primate hematopoietic stem cells and T-cells. In the Peterson lab she is interested in working on cloning techniques and pursuing CAR T-cell solutions to HIV.  

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming, gardening, watching local wildlife and volunteering to help restore native habitats.
